Description

Dill (Anethum graveolens)

Dill grows up to 40–60 cm (16–24 in) and blooms flowers white to yellow in colour. This herb grows best in warm climates, when planted in well drained soil and watered regularly.

Once mature, it can be used to make Dill Pickles or as an ingredient in other dishes.

Fun fact: Dill oil is extracted from the leaves, stems, and seeds of the plant. The oil from the seeds is distilled and used in the manufacturing of soaps.
